The Ministry of Health of Ukraine has paid for the transplants, which will take place in 2020, according to the agency's website.
According to the report, the payment was transferred to ten participants of the transplant pilot project, who submitted the relevant applications and approved by the Cabinet of Ministers on December 18, 2019.
The Ministry of Health paid for the 2019 state budget. After using these funds, an additional transfer of funds from the 2020 budget will be made.
As reported, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has extended the pilot transplant project for 2020.
The list of pilot participants included all medical institutions that have a license to provide such medical services.
In addition, the government approved tariffs for organ transplantation services and other anatomical materials: kidney allotransplantation (from a living donor or corpse donor) UAH 323,798 thousand, ABO-incompatible kidney allotransplantation UAH 721.23 thousand, heart / heart transplantation -pulmon "or after a heart transplant / heart-lung complex 535.28 thousand UAH, liver transplant / liver - recipient 855,039 thousand UAH, donor nephrectomy from open access 33,561 thousand UAH, donor liver resection 116,13 UAH thousand, donor stage - removal of organs from the donor-corpse 74,086 thousand UAH, tissue typing of the donor (determination of HLA-antigens by PCR) 18,63 thousand UAH, allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation with the donor stage UAH 1.36 million and autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation with a donor stage of UAH 1.308 million.
The Cabinet of Ministers also allowed the use of funds to pay for hematopoietic stem cell transplants from abroad, as well as to prepay for transplant services and use the balance of funds in 2019 in 2020.
